Adrienne Hastings enjoyed writing since she first picked up a pencil and paper.  This story came about after she graduated from high school and read someone else's book—it made her think of a rosebush and a bumblebee!

She worked on this story for a long time. She and it changed and matured. But the two characters, the rosebush and the bumblebee, were always there. Publishers' rejections had been positive and helpful, but something was missing. Adrienne set the story aside. 

Later, Adrienne studied our Father's Word and got to know and love Him as she'd never known or loved anyone. She felt inspired to use her story to express her devotion to Him.

But she still needed His help. She prayed and He blessed her with words and further insights, until her story was complete. There was nothing missing anymore! 

Adrienne and her husband reside in beautiful, lake-filled Minnesota.
